The Origin
We'd love to tell you this book had a magical beginning, but if we're being honest: Alina dreamed up an adult "Tinkerbell" mall as a teenager, which is where the world of "Daughter of Water" was born. Luckily, every idea morphs and grows. And that was just the seed we needed to get things started.
The Journey
That seed sprouted and grew over time. We wanted to create a story that celebrated the epic battle of good versus evil, with rich layers of magic, myth, and genuinely likeable characters. The more we talked, the more this world came alive: the Verdélia, the seasons, the Imps, and of course, the Firstborn.
The dream
As the story grew the details became more elaborate and suddenly we had a four book series in our lap and no idea what to do with it. We worked together through several renditions to commit the story to words, and finally the first book in the series, "Daughter of Water," is ready for us to share!
